I received a call from 402-952-4444 at 6:28 pm, October 24, 2013. I do not know this number at all. It must be some type of harassing call. Let those son of [***] go to hell!

I got a call from this number.

these [***] did called me too 4029524444, all it does is burn peak minutes. Probably some big brother group watching all of us. Maybe they should making jobs for us instead !!!

Got the call. Fortunately I LOOK AT THE NUMBERS AND IF MY PHONE DOESN'T PULL THEM UP FROM MY DIRECTLY, IDON'TANSWER. Which is something that a lot of respondents don't seem to have the willpower to do. I have to answer the phone at work, don't expect me to answer every anonymous caller who has a autodialer at their phone bank. Put into the reject list and I'll never even know they called until I'm erasing them.

They said they were Gallup. I did not give them much info. Fairly innocuous questions

if you don't want people calling you, don't have a phone. SIMPLE AS THAT, you have a phone you are going to get calls, if you don't want to talk to them don't answer and let it go to voice mail. How stupid are you people for complaining about something as trivial as getting phone calls.

This is the Gallup Poll organization. In my case, they were contracted (to annoy me) by Wells-Fargo. I do have accts with W-F. So, is this "legit"? Yes. Is it annoying corporate B.S. that is pretending to be "customer service?" Yes. This is what happens with large organizations. They do a lot of half-assed "measurement" that doesn't really measure anything. It's all "intramural organizational masturbation." While Gallup is the one making the phone calls, the org contracting with them (W-F in my case) is the REAL culprit. Will complaining to Gallup help? NOPE. They're just Phone Droids and are getting paid to do it. So, what do *I* do now? I have a quick call with a (junior) Officer-level type at Wells-Fargo: "any more dinner time [***] surveys and I'm GONE."
