Unknown caller calling my cell.

Surveys and poling is exempt from DNC lists. Simply answer the phone and request that your number be removed. The caller is Gallup Research. Very nice people. They will be happy to stop the calks. But you must pick up the phone.

It is not a " prank." This is Gallup Poll. They are very nice people. Polling calls are not subject to DNC lists, state or federal. If you answer the call, you can request that your number be removed. They are most accommodating. You can participate in the poll if you like. Usually questions about politics, opinions about education, etc. No one is selling anything or collecting info to sell. Gallup is a respected, global research organization that's been since 1935.

I had received twice calls from this #...how to solve this, mean to stop it?...any advise?MM

Called at 10:27 pm! They asked for my husband using his legal first name that he has never used, I told them they had the wrong number (which is true since they called my personal cell phone.)

U mad bro? Sounds like scamming to me. I have nothing to do with Wells Fargo.Any legit call will leave at least a voice mail. Not ask if you spoke to Tom Dick or Harry then hang up.Sounds like your in on the scam with your multiply post trying to make the calls seem legit.

Seriously, you guys!! This is just a survey company. The reason why they're calling you on your cell phones is because you gave a company your cell number and then they gave it to Gallup to call you to check up for satisfaction scores!! It's not a big deal. It's not illegal. It's just what they do. If you want them to stop calling, just answer the phone and tell them that or just call back and leave a message saying so.

I have a bit of information for those of you who might no be aware of it : YOUR CALLER ID CAN BE FOOLED !!No matter what number shows up on your Caller ID, the call can easily be originating from anywhere in the world.Software exists that allow scam callers to trick your Caller ID into displaying any number that the offending caller wishes to show. Caller ID may give the name of a company located in the US, while the call actually originates ina telemarketing boiler room operation in another country [India e.g.] Calls that originate outside the US are not subject to US laws, so the DO NOT CALL list is useless to stop them.
