They usually buy your numbers. If you have EVER answered a call and said hello wand the phone line hung up right afterwards, that means that they have you on a list that your number is in service. your number is then sold to someone else for about a penny (Thats about the max) and the companies just call all these people that they have no idea who they are.
Mine was from Air Miles (this last time - using other numbers other times) - "Dear preferred customer" - I'd won 100,000 Air Miles - press 1 to confirmHung up - will report itAm also on the DNC list?!So annoying!

I called Frontiers official phone number 1-800-921-8105, the agent I spoke to gave me this scammer number, they pretend to be frontier and offer a rebate and ask you to provide your bank account info to “send” the rebate. I hung up
