this number is attached to the Peter Lougheed Centre's Pre Admission Clinic, I got this number earlier today, and when it called back it was the hospital calling to find out why I missed my pre admission appointment for my surgery in two weeks.so if you get this number, at least in calgary alberta, it is a hospital calling your number.

It is not as specific as the preadmission desk - it is the outcall number for the telephone exchange at Peter Lougheed hospital. Someone there is calling you, but if they don't leave a message you have no idea which one of the 1000 or so locals originated the call.

yes, its the Calgary Health Region. For us its Diagnostic Imaging at the Rockyview confirming an appointment.

It's from Calgary Health, A girl called me saying she's from Canada and she needed help on relationship advice. Let alone did she get off the phone, I don't have long distance. She needs medical attention. She was saying things are going to go bad and everything is wrong....That I don't understand....

The Calgary Health Region has this number as the one that picks up, if you call it back you will get a recorded message stating that someone has contacted you and there is no way for them to know who. Mine was to confirm an appt, so if you receive a call from this number and you do not answer then they will likely call you back the next day. I do not have voicemail and that is what has happened to me on a number of occasions. Hope that this helps?

We just received a call from this number. A lady asked for my husband, I told her he's still at work and asked if she would leave a message. There was no way, she wouldn't tell me who she was or what she wanted. Until I googled the number, I had no idea it was the Calgary Health Region. I called back and got a recording to inform me that they had no where to direct my call. This could be a big issue for us. My huband is travelling to Calgary tomorrow for surgery, it's a 3 1/2 hour drive one way, 3 nights in hospital and you'd think that these friggin morons would, at least, say why they're calling. What if the surgery is cancelled. Definately an issue to write to the Premier about!

Got call from 4039434388, when I call back, , the record says " this is Calgary Health Region, they will contact me again". I do not have anything to do with them!
