Some chinese idiots have nothing to do except making all these scam calls. They do state westjet. I am surprise how some idiots have access to westjet customers.

I received a call today from this number and heard an automated message saying I had won 100,000 aeroplan points and to press 1 - assumed it was a scam so hung up.

i'm from BC and just missed this number.

I had the same call about being a "valued West Jet customer" and getting "999 dollars off" some trip.However it came from a different phone number which is 416-259-9965.It started off as the same call I had previously when I kept talking to them to find out what this was about. They wanted me to sign up for a vacation in Mexico at a five-star hotel.When I checked further it turned out to be some kind of scam.

Called me today. Didnt answer, called back, says its not in service. I would like to know how they got my cell #.

Call arrived at 2010-10-15 15:44 to my SaskTel cell phone. Claimed that I had won a promotional WestJet prize and asked that I confirm eligibility of: over 25 holder of valid credit cardCaller then said to hold while they transferred me somewhereat which point I hung up.

Its fun to screw with these guys.I'll get a call every other week, and its always from a different number. I always press 1 and give them a fake name and some random age so that I get to go on and talk to the Jamaican guy. He asks all kinds of questions and I give fake answers and try to make small talk with him, or tell him about my day. So far I have managed to keep them on the line for 25 minutes without giving out any valid or useful information. Eventually they will transfer you to some guy who sounds like Jeremy Freedman from The Simpsons (Google it...) and he will start to accuse me of "wasting their time". And then I laugh and let him know he will be hearing back from me in a couple of weeks.The sad part is that people must be falling for it, or it wouldn't be profitable to keep doing it. I figure if I can waste their time, it takes away from the time they could be using to scam someone I know or care about.

In Vancouver. Missed call, no msg.

I just got a call from this number. I'm in Vancouver and it was to my WIND cell phone. I did not answer because I don't answer unknown numbers from long distance as a personal policy. But I googled the number just in case it was maybe something legit. I'm glad I did not answer. There was no message left.

I just got one... gave me a heart attack cuz my bf works for precision drilling which is a 403 number... kept trying to call it back but it said it wasnt in service so i googled it and thank goodness for this post i was having a heart attack
