Well, the powers that be are supposed to be coming up with legislation that will enable us to block these calls through whatever provider that we use.Of course, since I'm a cynical SOB, I expect the interested business lobbyists to water this down to the point that it is ineffectual.
I received a call from (407) 592-7354 today 6/24/2015 at 9:24am and robo call said:"Congratulations, you have beenselected to get a free cruise". I immediately hung up. I have been on the DO NOT CALL List since it's very inception,and to date get at least 5 calls per day from various numbers. This borders on Harrassment.
This is annoying but you can do something that actually works. If your phone does not 'bring up the ID" in your directory just don't answer it and if it is legitimate they will leave a message. Then when you are on your computer just type in the number into a search engine and you get a site like we are on now and you can see that is a scam. Then (if not legitimate) simply create a contact in your phone that is simply this "DO NOT ANSWER" and just start putting all these calls into that contact and you would be amazed how quickly you keep adding numbers. BUT.... the next time they call it will come up in your caller ID as "DO NOT ANSWER" and now you know not to waste your time. In the beginning before I did this I would forget and answer the phone because I was in a hurry or distracted. I have been doing this for years. Just try it. :)

It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
