this phone number showed up. it called ! it told that there was a trip waiting, but i didn't buy one.i'm afraid someone has gotten in and stolen my phone number. was the call from me ?i called the bank and asked the bank if they received a report of a stolen credit card or gift card that was used to buy a trip to the islands but they told me i didn't have an account there. this is verizon wireless.can anyone help ?
there was a hesitation, then the person identified himself as customer service...no company name. At that point I said I was on the Do Not Call list and hung up.
It was a robot call. They were trying to sell timeshares and I hung up before getting more details
They are just random calling everyone hoping to sucker someone into buying whatever they are selling, or pretending to sell. This number called me today, but left no message.
