called today for the second time. Called at 9 AM. Caller id "Cell Phone FL". Left no message and hung up after 6 or 7 rings; I saw the caller id and shut the answering machine off.
Yes, but you also need to go to the DNC site and read. Do Not call does mean Do not call.....but only applies to those American businesses for whom the FTC set up the dnc for and applies only to them, who are Registered within the FTC data base and are required to purchase the "list" and update monthly. It is what it is and has nothing to do with anyone's other unwanted calls. Nothing else....Go Read!
Spoofing a phone number should be a FELONY! Put the BASxxxDS in PRISON and throw away the key.
It's no wonder so many are getting scammed, based upon the people who post on this forum. So many think they know so much about how the DNC works yet they haven't a clue nor the inclination to read for themselves and find out.
They are calling me again today. The last call received @ 1:09 EDT went to my answering machine and there was a long pause of silence but no message was left.

It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
