As others have mentioned I believe 408-256-0700 may have something to do with Project FI or Google voice. I'm a project fi user and on my caller id I received a call from 408-256-0700 at 6:30am but the email from Google said I had a missed call from (646) 650-3964.

I just switched to Google Fi and got a call from this number about "an important legal matter." They were looking for someone else. I blocked the number.
some spanish speaking guy called me, he knew my name. Pretty creepy, seemed like a scam considering my ID just got stolen this morning
This # has NOTHING at all to do with police or google. I get called several x week for 2 years. Report to FCC or FTC or attorney general.
I received call from 4082560700, the person who called acted as security company and asked to confirm the security code around 7.00 AM in the morning. I was at home and there was no security alarm incident at home. So doubted and asked them to dispatch police and hung up the phone.What are suggestion for precautions? Should this needs to be informed to Sheriff office?

Shoplc. I don’t mind them calling if I have a problem but they called me 3 times in past 3 days to fill out survey they emailed. If I wanted to fill it out, I would have, I don’t need calls, plus I did fill one out but am still getting calls.
