I'm in San Diego, but have an East Bay (Northern California) cell phone number. Since it looked like a funky number, I didn't pick up. 409 indicated it was Texas. I'm also on a do-not-call list.
Get call from this # everyday.......what is the purpose of any of these #'s......time to report these calls to FCC & phone companies ...put them out of business

I'm in PA but my cell still has a CO number... I just got a call from this number. I didn't recognize it so I didn't answer and no message was left.From the earlier reports here it sounds like this is the "lower your interest rates" scam again. I know that a group had been caught a while back but it doesn't surprise me to find this scam has been resurrected, it's easy enough for them to do - and hard to catch them. In the case of this number, which is so obviously fake, I suspect they're using some kind of spoofing software to disguise the real number; they're just not being as "creative" as usual with the number they pick.
Called me twice from Texas, ignored it then called it back and also said couldn't be connected. Fishy!! What number is truly a perfect sequence?! Sick of these calls.

I received a package from a rigging company in New York with my name and address but this phone number as my contact number.

Calls once or twice per week with voice msg "Brandon from CTS" call me back. WTF is CTS? No context, no real msg.
Phone number calls multiple times a day, once someone from my office picks up, it is dead silence on the other line. When you try to call back, it is a number that is not in service.
