Got called and I talked to the lady and she wanted to get my credit Card number by tricking me that I might qualify for lower interest. I told her that credit card companies wouldnt call the user for lowering interest.
Didn't pick up, didn't recognize the number. Put it on Caller Block based on comments on this page.
PAY ATTENTION!!!!! Do not pick up the phone! (even to hang up on them). Do not call the number back. Blowing a whistle does not work. Blocking a waste of time. They will just keep calling back with new numbers. FTC won't do anything...worthless. When you pick up you are making it worse for yourself and everybody else. EVERYBODY NEEDS TO STOP PICKING UP THE PHONE AND THEN THE TRASH WOULD STOP EVENTUALLY!!!!!
Voice says "please hold. You have been chosen to reduce your credit card interest rate" I was curious, but waited. A male with an accent starts speaking. He would be happy to help me reduce my cc interest rate. I say I'm interested, very much. He starts into the script and I listen. He goes on and on. He just needs some info from me. Ok, I say. Which bank card are we talking about? You card he says, WHICH BANK? Yours. Give me a bank names and we can work on this.He refuses to give me a name. I wait and then disconnected. ANOTHER SCAM.
received call, didn't answer, called back & Verizon operator stated that the number, "has been changed, disconnected or is no longer in service" Pretty amazing that a number "no longer in service" is able to MAKE spammy, junk mail phone calls...

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
