Recd a pkg from Walmart we didn't order. Order had our address but was associated with this phone no. We did not get charged, but obviously someone is up to no good
Amex card was compromised (used for amazon) and received a bubble wraped envelope from china with this number approximately 10 days later in the mail. The package was empty and said "wish you all the best".
I believe this an Amazon Mask, why they cant just ***x it out is beyond me. but a lot of the things Amazon does is beyond me. Bizarro world
I received a package from Walmart addressed to me with a telephone number of 412-532-4665, which is not my tele number and I did not order ANYTHING from Walmart. Delivered by Fed Ex. Contents is 2 PaperMate erasable pens. Shipping Label states "Bill Sender."
Oh my god thanks so much popeye!! I was super worried I was going to get ripped off by an Amazon buyer. What a relief. I'll repost your message on another site (badbuyer).
Actually, this is an Amazon number which is used to shield the purchaser's actual phone number. After you enter a code, they connect you -- it prevents anyone from seeing the actual phone number of the buyer. so these comments refer to different buyers. Amazon uses several of these shield phone numbers now.
Something strange about this number. I bought something off of Amazon from "China Dong"...I should've known by the name, it was a strange and bad deal. I requested a refund because it's extremely defective...the return address from Amazon was some crazy long mailing address. The email I received from the seller through Amazon said the return address is some lady named Jill in California at this number + ext 06909. They DID say they'd give me a full refund, but it all sounds fishy, and I'm not expecting a refund. Has anyone heard of a scam like this? Not sure how that would work in their favor, if it is.
My seller on amazon had asked me to confirm if the phone number provided was true. It was this number and this is not my number.
