once you get a live person on the line a really loud whistle works fine and should hurt for awhile or keep them on the line waiting for ' the person' they need to talk to, i love wasting their time

Those good ole telemarketers just called Menlo Park, CA

Received a call from this number a few minutes ago and even though there was no one talking on the other end, I still let them have it with a few choice words of my own.

Got a call rang 4 times called back 5 busy signal I say a scam number or a non working number, but an auto dialing machine. I checked online no cybver evidence of this number. My phone is registered under the DNC list as well as others in this forum as well.

Don't want to see our hear from this number again

We are a clock repair business in Cleveland, Ohio and have had this number for about 15 years. We receive these calls and no one answers when we get the call. Upon calling the number back (1-414-232-5011) the VM recipient identifies their name as "Butt-Head," humorous but annoying...and the mailbox is full and will not take further calls / messages.

I GIVE UP ! DOESN'T DO ANY GOOD TO FILE A COMPLAINT ----- I STILL GET CALLS I WON'T ANSWER BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW THE CALLER - GET A LIFE PEOPLE !!!!!!!! LEAVE THE REST OF US ALONE !

Well I'm sorry to say that being on the do not call list will NOT prevent telemarketers (or anyone else) from calling you, though it usually decrease the frequency as the more "reputable" organizations will honor the list.Everyone who answered the call - your little answers are funny, but ultimately you played into their hands. Answering verifies that the number they called is valid. It will be flagged as such and you will now receive more unwanted solicitations. Sorry. Best course if action is NEVER ANSWER A CALL FROM A NUMBER TOU DON'T RECOGNIZE, and DON'T EVER CALL THEM BACK! if they don't leave a voicemail, they aren't legit. I'm really suprised that everyone doesn't know this by now.
