Call shows up regularly on my cell phone - unknown and unwanted

Got this call on my cell phone. Didn't recognize number and didn't answer. Would be great if DNC really worked on cell and home phones!!!

As has been said by others I never answer a call that does not have a caller ID name attached. After letting it ring thru I check the number here and almost always see that it is SPAM. Thanks for all the messages people. :)My next step is to add the number to my iPhone directory under the contact name POOR MARY, there are over 50 numbers already listed. The next time I get a call from that number I take a quick look and say 'awww POOR MARY' I do agree with the message about not picking up any unidentified caller as this confirms your number is a working number and will be sold to every POOR MARY who'll pony up for the next badge of numbers to SPAM to.

Left no voice mail. Glad I found these posts because I have family with same area code and was worried some type of family emergency happening and somebody trying to reach me.

This one may have started leaving a message about the Bahamas. If I wanted to go there, I'd make my own arrangements. Nothing is FREE! Get a life, stop disturbing mine.Who knows what the company name is, just says "cell phone"

Cute response, but often there's nobody there for a reason - it's an autodialler, and it's only set up to see if someone answers or not. If you pick up, or your answering machine gets it, the log idicates it's a real number. May also be true if it goes thru to a real voicemail.
