i just received a call from a guy named jack of diamonds telling me that he was going to get me on a reality show and that he needed 3-5 head shots and body shots...then he asked if that i send $250.00 is it really a scam before i try and send him ths money????please respond asap.my email is realcozy04@aol.com let me kno if u can

im not sure if this page is riight but i would like some info on this because i did recieve a call also today and well im very excited about being on t.v. i was told to pay 300 and then everything would be paid after that the hotels food etc. i was very happy of course and well my parents didnt like the fact i had to pay when i wasnt even doing any shows yet so i just got pissed off and well im doing research before sending him 5-6 more pictures that he wanted from me and well i found this ill check this page again tomorrow to see if this is real

Well, he has changed his name but not his methods. He is going by Chris Lyn. It sounded good, a little to good. So, I starting searching the web for independent reviews. The scariest thing I have seen is that they have an A- rating on the Better Business Bureau's website, however, they are not accredited. On all matters like this you must do your homework. Be careful that you know and understand the contract you are entering into because just because it is a bad one doesn't make it legally voidable. If you are willing to spend $300 for an "agent", spend a few dollars for a lawyer to review the contract.

Greg wanted 300 form me to get 3 head shots and 3 body shots to represent me for the reality show Survivor. He had a copy of my appication for the show. How did he get it?? Needless to say I did not bite!!! He got NO money from me.

I work in the business as a casting director. Casablanca and John Robert Powers are schools, they are not SAG/AFTRA agents! HNE was new to me until they just called for my daughter. I sent him packing! If they charge anything to get you work they are a shady scam! Period. Casting is paid by the production company and agents are paid a commission of 10- 15% of the work they put you up for. It is up to the talent to book the work through their look and/or talent. Casting Directors sometimes offer classes but never persue more zed cards, headshots or comp cards unless it is for a very hard to find group.

Blaine - If you're a casting agent, why is your daughter looking for opportunities in the industry through a website? Isn't that something you'd be able to provide? I smell [***].
