I have an Apple iphone and I'm with Rogers pay-as-you-go. When I called Rogers to enquire why my balance was so low, I was informed of all the calls (20 or more) I made through voicemail to 416 272-2768. I was travelling on a major highway when most of these calls went through but .... not by me!! The Rogers rep gave me a credit and told me to call Apple as it's their problem. Did you find a solution to your problem?

Yes my rogers pay as u go account is riddled with charges that I called this number when I did not. This is not good. I looked into my phone records and no such calls were made. I never use my cell phone to make long distance calls.

My Rogers usage statement says that I called 416-272-2768. I checked my iphone record and found that I caledl myself at the same time. Presumably it goes to Rogers voice mail system (and I haven't set up mine). This is consistent with a number of posts above stating Rogers voice mail calling up 416-272-2768

Same problem happened 7 times. I was trying to setup my Rogers voicemail in various ways, including calling my own cell phone number. It looks like every time I do this, an entry of me calling 416-272-2768 was added. Accordingly to my iphone call log, no such calls have been made.

I use i phone 5 with Rogers Pay As You Go, same situation that the record shows that LD outgoing call to 416-272-2768 and charge $1.00 for 1 minute. Any suggestion to stop this happen again?

I also use Rogers Pay As You Go. But I installed Norton Mobile which I can block unwanted calls. I find it cut down significantly on this kind of charges. You don't have to install Norton like I do, just find your own, there are plenty apps out there can help. I don't work for Norton or get benefit on leaving message here.
