It is from CVS reminding me to fill a blood pressure med, they knew the right one, they knew I hadn't refilled it,didn't ask for any info. Just telling me to go get it refilled.
The number is legit, CVS Caremark.After not answering the call from this number, a voicemail was left stating my legal name (correct) and stating that I was overdue on re-filling some of my prescriptions (also correct).For me, CVS Caremark is the corporate "middleman" who handles my prescription benefits on behalf of my health insurer. [The technical term is PBM or Pharmacy Benefits Manager.]CVS Caremark being my PBM has nothing to do with CVS Retail; I actually fill my prescriptions at Walgreens. CVS Caremark is "hired" by my health insurer to be their PBM.Of course, be aware that scammers can always spoof any Caller ID they wish. In this case, however, the private information left in the voicemail confirms to me it was a legitimate call.
Getting calls from 423-822-2465 claiming to be Aetna, stating they're calling about an overdue prescription for me.
Received a call on my land line at 5:25 PM on May 8, 2017. It's another "Say Yes" scam. I have not had a prescription at CVS in 10+ years.
Same # called with my full name and said I had not reordered my prescription lately. I don't use CVS although my insurance co. recently changed their coverage to using CVS as well as others. HMMMM! Never had this happen before. I will block the #.
