Just got an "Out of Area" call from this number at 11 AM on a Saturday morning. My husband and I have had a CVS Caremark pharmacy plan for over 11 years through his job, and we have NEVER had them call us when a prescription was running low. We only have 1 prescription Rx and it's on autofill through Caremark, so there's no need to call us about anything (if it really is Caremark).I'm not at a place where I can get to our account info at the moment, but I will follow up with CVS Caremark about this issue when I get a chance.

We haven't used CVS for prescriptions for at least 5-6 years now. Horrible company to deal with as they set a new level of incompetence. If we are getting calls then whomever is calling is a scam.

Received a call from this number CVS care mart mail order. Wanted DOB and zip code - Not. Called CVS they stated they would never ask for this information over the phone for mail order. Filled complaint with them , for what's it worth. Call came from Chattanooga TN

NO IT IS NOT. I just called my insurance company, and they said that they are aware of the SCAM.

Our records show, we have not recently called concerning an order for you.

person continually wanted me to say yes to my name.I know there is a scam where they want you to say yes to them so they can get into your accounts. Also I do not deal with CVS, so I know my call was a scam.

Blow me away!!! This is actually legit. Got a message, caller claimed to be from Aetna; message concerned a prescription that was overdue,gave a phone number and 7 digit extension number. So, I called Aetna! They knew all about it, said it was legit and that their records showed that I had not refilled a prescription-----which was true. My doc had taken me off it---- just never knew Aetna tracked it! Not sure how CVS got into the mix unless it is an outside company that performs the service for multiple clients. Told Aetna to rethink policy due to all the scams out there.

Note: caller was NOT from my pharmacy; it was from my insurance provider! Again, not sure how CVS got into the mix unless they have their own insurance program.

If it's legit CVS why are they also identifying themselves as Aetna, as they just did in a voice mail i picked up? Also other IDs. This has all the earmarks of phishing.

MY msg was an automated call from AETNA mail-order pharmacy, reminding me of a Rx that is due for re-filling, and for which I have not re-filled. I DO have AETNA ins and I DO have a Rx due for re-filling which I have not yet re-filled.
