To whom it may concern, I recieved a phone call from the following number 425-282-5526 at 1928 in the evening. I was quite disturbed to find out it was some telemarketeer that had my phone number. Especially when I have never called them before and not sure how they got this number.

TURN THE FAX ON AND THAT WILL DRIVE THEM CRAZY

They left a VERY strange message..demaning that the phone be answered and then procceded to ask if something was going to be said.......very scary!

This number appeared on my cell phone, at 7:29pm on may 27th 2010, it rang three times and then hung up, kind of weird.

They call and hang up on the voice mail

Many of these call centers make calls for a multitude of companies. The centers are a business that sell their services out to other companies. If a company wants a survey or they want someone to make cold calls to sell stuff they hire one of these companies. One day they may do a legit survey the next they may try to sell you insurance on your credit card. If you do business with a bank and they hire them to cold call customers to sell them insurance on that card, they are covered because they are now an associate of you bank trying to sell you insurance on their card. These are both legal contacts as charities, survey companies and companies that are associated with a bank etc that you deal with are not covered by the DNC list.

Thanks so much Jim, the lady that answered said she was the only person who knew how to remove my number......She said she would have it removed by the end of the day!

I continue to receive calls from (425) 282-5526; today requested they take my name off their list.

This company calls me at least once every day even though I asked them to stop calling. Is there anything that can be done to stop them from calling us?

They don't leave messages because they are not allowed too. Market Researchers like PMR ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE DO NOT CALL LIST BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT TRYING TO SELL YOU ANYTHING. All they are doing is their job so maybe you should be a bit more kinder to them especially in a time like this. People are always confusing Market researchers with Telemarketers. It gets old. There is no do not call list for these people. Numbers are derived from the areas that they are calling into for your genuine opinions in the surveys they are taking. When it comes to the political surveys those are derived from the voter registration list. Just thought I would provide some of you ignorant people with some facts about Market Research. They're not targeting you out people. Just doing their jobs so give them a break. And honestly if you can sit and pig out on a couch and watch TV whats a couple of minutes to provide your opinion really going to hurt? Some people take for granted the Freedom of speech that we have here in America. Their are some places with people who would love to give their opinions about anything because they live in a police state where they have no freedoms. We as Americans need to wake up and take advantage of our rights rather than neglect them before it is too late.
