My particular call from this number was a LEGITIMATE PHONE CALL because I SIGNED UP FOR Microsoft Usability Studies.The survey involves a questionnaire to qualify you to be a tester for microsoft and you are rewarded with a gratuity when you participate.I've done it before and it is completely legit - all the hospitality of the microsoft campus and some free software to boot (if you qualify on the questions.)I always answer when this number calls cause it means a free new xbox game for just a few hours of my time.If you live near Redmond and signed up with microsoft on their site, and want to participate in this study, I recommend you answer when these guys call!PMR is probably a contractor and might call for other companies' studies too - but to me this number means PLAYTEST!!!I hope this helps and doesn't get buried on here.Best Regards,Mark

These SOB's called again today (10-31-11 @ 11:04 AM). Wife answered phone because I was gone. Same crapola - "We can lower your interest rate on your credit card". This makes 3-4 calls received from these stupid idiots. Obviously, they don't understand the meaning of the word "NO". Today, wife just told them not interested and hung up on them again. Be willing to bet they'll call again within next 2-3 days. We are on the Federal and State NO CALL lists, but these people do not and will not pay attention to them. Bunch of scammers utilizing this method to obtain personal information about you. I believe their name is Pacific Market Research. Caller ID showed number as 425-282-5526, and "UNKNOWN NAME". The next time they call and I get to answer the phone, the SOB's are going to get a real ear full!!!

I too received a call to my cellphone from these people. I sent a letter to Mr. Andrew Rosenkranz, Managing Director telling him I am on current "DO NOT CALL" listing. I asked him to remove my cell # and to reply to my letter. I didn't receive a reply. I gave him two weeks to reply. In my letter I told him I was going to file complaints with several agencies, if he didn't reply. A Rachel McKinsey called from this number and tried to get information from me. She went right into asking me about Seattle Public Utilities. I asked if I get paid for the survey, and then she hung up on me. So uncaring and rude. I tried calling back this number unsuccessfully.
