I received call from 425-282-5526 every night for a week now. I looked some of the comments made on this sight and got an address and email address and send Pacific correspondence. I told them to remove my phone number or I would file a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General's Office(WSAGO) if call continued I would sue them accoring to the WSAGO. I invited Pacific to continued calling because the calls were register on my caller ID and would their calls would be used in a harassment sue. Don't get mad at telemarkerters get to know the laws in your state and plan a vacation.
numerous calls from this number, even after asking them to remove my number and letting them know it's on the do not call list.
I am so glad you wrote this! For the past three nights in a row, this number calls me. I answer, and I hear a hang-up. Tonight, I remembered the number when it came in once again and did not answer. There was no message left on my voicemail. Why would a legitimate research company call and never talk to me, and, never leave a voicemail when I do not answer? Thanks.
THESE PEOPLE ARE NOTHING BUT A FRONT COMPANY FOR COLLECTION AGENCIES...THAT'S WHY THE "SURVEY" OF HOUSEHOLD MEMBERS, ETC.
It looks like they are at it again. They are even calling after 8 pm at night!
It looks like they are at it again!! They are even calling after 8 PM!! What balls! If you think you are alone in this you not. It looks like a lot of people responding here are responding to the bottom thread. Respond to it and you will see a bunch more responses. They called and didn't say anything, but didn't hang up either. Just weird! To the man that lives close to the origin of these calls: If they bother you again, please call the police on them, so they can be arrested for harassment and it sounds like fraud. Anyone trying to get social security numbers fraudulently is probably a felony, but impersonating a federal IRS agent is for sure a felony!!
Please list the number to the FTC. What department handles this type of thing anyways?
