Phone rang and knew by number on display it was a call center, also had unknown on display. Picked up receiver and hit #7 button several times in hopes of knocking our number out of their system.
Really?!! Fast asleep after doing a graveyard shift and got this farkin call! no voicemail 2nd time in 2 days.Likely stupid robo/tele call.
Got two calls within a minute from this number. The only people in Montreal that I "know" are the ones that emptied my bank account one day. (Debit fraud) Chances are, I'm not answering the phone so that they can take more. No messages left. Luckily, I had my phone on silent, so nobody else was disturbed.
Received 2 calls within 1 minute this morning at 9:25 am. Thanks to those here who either answered or got part of this on their VM. Mine recorded nothing. Will be adding to my block list. But they just change their number & call again, because I've received these before. I thought Canada had a Do Not Call registry? Don't these people ever have ANY consequences? What's the point of a Do Not Call list then? I actually don't blame the cell carriers. More should be done by the government to punish &/or deter them. Big fines. Possible jail. They can jail people on petty crimes, yet the real crooks get away with everything. I'm sure with all the tech we have, someone could do SOMETHING. Ugh!
Calling them back just confirms the number and they'll call you more. Same with e-mails when you ask to be unsubscribed. Ignore or delete. Best you can do.

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
