Caller ID said "Bartlett, Inc." It's the "Heather at account services"/credit card scam. Reported.

Just got a call on my cell phone. Didn't answer. If there's no name displayed that I recognize, I don't answer. A good rule to follow.

they just called me with the recorded messaging saying lower my intrest rate...oh usa came us on call id on my cell....scam ...my cell is on the dnc reg....a lot of good that is doing...

Got a call at 8:56 AM EST, but I did not answer.

I called back. First time, "your number cannot be selected as dialed.' 2nd time: "Please press any digit to be added to our do not call list"Funny, I'm already on the GOV'T DO NOT CALL LIST.

They said they're from Bank of America Credit Card Services and that I could get a lower percentage rate on my BofA Credit Card. That's about all that I could understand as this person was foreign. I didn't trust this call one bit so I hung up.

I have received these calls before... I have an older compaq PC still that I keep around just for problem. I do this: (THIS REALLY WORKS WELL!!!) the compaq has win98 on it still, so when I have trouble of this sort, I set the number as the # of the ISP in dial-up-networking and set the PC to connect to that number and to retry every min or 2 for between 99 and 999 times and cut it loose!!\Last time I did this I tunrned it off after a very long time, waited 5 mins then called the number myself.An actaul person answered and was relieved I had called. They PROMISED TO NEVER CALL ME AGAIN!!LOL!!!If more of us do this, it might stop this type of scamming/harassment!Older video game systems can be used for this alsojust put the number of the scammers into dial-up networking and cut em loose
