Phone number : 718-200-9898. Called and I missed it. Called back and it played a recorded "Phone number not in service" clip and then proceeded to play a random set of sounds followed by the *beep* *beep* *beep* one would get after leaving a home phone off the hook for too long, only this is my cellular phone. Not sure what the purpose of this number is or who it's from, but it's a waste.
ugh got this call too! damn and I thought someone called to give me an interview. but didn't pick up...I don't know what to do now when I receive numbers like these...u get no privacy and respect these days..ppl just wanna make money and they will bug the hell out of u to get a few bucks!
I answered and got a recording (nothing more insulting than being called by a machine!) and accepted and pressed 1. A man asked me if I'm over 25 years and if I have a credit card (but did NOT give him the number!). I said yes and he passed me on to someone else. Then I asked him who the company is and their phone number. He gave me Premiere Cancun Vacations located in Cancun and the phone number 1-800-961-8354. I gave him all three of my line numbers and asked to be put on the Do Not Call List. We'll see if that does any good, but he was very courteous.I then called 1-800-961-8354 and after a bit of a wait someone answered and said it was Premiere Cancun Vacations but I pretended I had dialed a wrong number looking for someone to repair my dishwasher.I would like to suggest to readers to use these kind of tactics to return calls to telemarketers to tie up their lines and waste their time and money whenever you can. I have done this on numerous occasions and kept them on the line for quite a bit of time while pretending to look for my credit card, etc.Revenge is sweet!
Just checked my e-mail, which is where my Voice mail goes, but googled the 14502009898, and got this forum. I have a Vonage account, but oh well. i looked it up and well its from the Montreal Area. So i am wondering why would anyone call me in Kamloops, BC??? Now i am aware lolBut the time is 340 PM and they called at 327 PM today (March 10th)
