Hmmm....sounds like the scam to ask you question that you will answer yes to so they can record you saying "yes" Then they start making charges to your phone bill since they have you on tape saying Yes to prove to the phone company that you agreed to the charges. They then confirmed your phone number.Sometimes this scam starts with the "can you hear me" question. Anything to get you to say YES.Did you find any unusual charges to your phone bill after this?

Caller ID was INFORMED ELECTO, I guess they need to be INFORMED that their number is now blocked with my CPR V5000 Call Blocker unit. I always enjoy pushing the big red BLOCK NOW button on my CPR V5000 or programming out an entire area code from calling my home phone. Anyone I know or do business with calls my cell phones. I give out my home phone number to deflect junk callers. I use Extreme Call Blocker on my Android cell phones and only someone in the contacts list can ring the phones.
Caller said he was from "Informed Electorate" and wanted to record my 'yes' or 'no' response to one survey question. I've been hearing that scammers can abuse a recorded response.
I'm tired but answered the call and as soon as I hung up, I knew I'd made a huge mistake. He said just say "Yes" or "No" as to whether I had voted in the last Presidential debate, so I said yes and then I was asked to spell my very simple name. I'm degreed and still fell for this and now he can use my recorded yes and my voice spelling my name to do who knows what. I have lots of legal connections and will use them if I have to, and I will never be that naïve again.

Person is telling me he is from Cox and that Cox has special offers. I asked about the offers and person saying he needs my Cox, forgot ? to verify that I had a Cox prescription. I hang up!
I got a call this afternoon 4/10/26 of a man saying he wanted to buy my building. I declined and said I was not interested and hung up. He called two times before and hung up.

Claims it is Indiana Health Department doing survey. Said they will call back. Called back at 6:00 pm. Was not home to answered. Did not leave a message. Could not find this number for Indiana Health Department.

I called my bank, and they confirmed that this call was from their fraud department. It was legitimate. But I don't understand what your star rating system is, the five stars above the "Report" blue rectangle. What is it rating?
