I've got to the point where I have turned off my answering machine. That way they think it's a dead number. I just look at the number and if I know it, I pickup. If I'm out and later check the number and know it, I call back. I know this wouldn't work for everyone. I don't get many personal calls, so thus this works for me. Has cut the number of calls to almost nothing.

Had a call as did others from Informed Electorate. Their website claims they want their surveys to be answered "by individuals around the country who want their voice to be heard - and NOT by corporations or Super PAC's or special interests."I saw it was a PAC and answered. I want to answer surveys. But...this was different they wanted me to say "yes" and to spell my name. I did say yes to call me again, but balked at spelling my name. I do not think they had my name so they cannot follow through; I kept asking if this was a recording, and the woman finally came on and said she was talking through a computer for accuracy. Gave her a talking to about recording people's yesses and she agreed it was not advisable. She wanted my name very badly. I don't think just the yes is enough for them. I said I would confirm if she read it off to me. Called. I did not answer. They didn't leave a message. Seeing all these messages proves me right not to answer.

469-701-0053 and 720-452-9840 are from the same place, ie: Informed Electo / Electorate Info .I called the "720" and got a woman on the phone. She admitted that the two phone numbers are theirs. I told her to take me off their list and do not call again, period!

Called this afternoon.....

Called late at night and kept saying HELLO, when I responded, they hung up. Caller I D said INFORMED ELECTO...

ID said Informed Elect. Man said it was a short survey .. Did I vote in the last election? Itold him "none of your damn business" & hung up! Get ready for a lot of political calls!

I do the same thing. If i do not know calling i will not answer.
