Have received a few calls from this number and when I ask who is calling (after a long pause on their end with a hollow sound) they hang up. The last time, however, I was verbally abused for asking who was calling, for what purpose, and did they know I was on the Do Not Call Registry. Seems the phone company can do little or nothing about this kind of call, or so they say. I suspect that if I switch the land-line off permanently, then they may be more responsive, but by then, I will be wedded to the cell phone and they will be short yet another customer.

Called three times and left no message. The third time the name that came up on my phone was Authors Club president. I answered and the caller then said they were collecting on a debt, claimed they were recording the call. Scam.
