Hey Laura, Ever wonder why you don't get any call backs for a date? It's the way you treat customer service reps - MEN, maybe? Zack isn't offering to take you to dinner - he just wants to service you. :-)
This is the most assinine suggestion. Saying not having a web page devoted to your unanswered call unethical? Does your doctors office have a web page devoted to their appointment confirmation calls? Regulate sales calls? Nanny-state here we come with that attitude. Oh, by the way, I too got the call the day after buying a domain from them. It's called marketing and it's the cornerstone of the free market. you may not buy products in the aftersell, but obviously someone does or they would not do it.
Hey Terry Bytes - great name - funny parents or your own wit? Ever meet Shanda Lear? It's really her name - Lear Electric Boats CEO and daughter of Bill Lear creator of Lear Jets. Anyway, I was bored today and I noticed your CS response - have a nice day.Regards from Zack and the CSR's at Go Daddy and even Bob Parsons.I don't work for them (Go Daddy), but I placed your number on MY don't call list. :-)
I just confirmed with GoDaddy themselves. This is their number. They call people when they set up a new account, as a courtesy.
Hi Jeff,You did the right thing. Protect your privacy. If you need customer service from GO DADDY - Call 480- 505-**** ask for Zack or ask for Bob Parsons directly.Sincerely,Joe ArpaioSheriff Maracopa County
I sincerely HOPE that you are not that stupid!! Although in today's world wellll........It is GoDaddy. Geez.
It was GoDaddy.com, they called because I just set up an email account for a business I am working with. The call was a follow up to the new accounts, they btw was very nice and I had questions they could help me with.
Yet another liar...work for GoDaddy....what as a toilet scrubber? Please. It is GoDaddy, I just called the number back spoke with customer service they were calling to see if all was well with my service and if I needed any help in developing my website. I just renewed hosting yesterday, just like they called two years ago when I renewed and two years prior to that when I initially signed up with them.
Not necessarily. they can sometimes put what they want in the name field on caller ID. that's how fraud works.
It's GoDaddy for sure. They called me the next day after I purchased a domain for my comedy podcast.Really cool guy, a great follow up, even asked me about my podcast.Of course with the intentions of possibly selling me more products/services, I kindly declined and it was still a great call!Customer service for the win!BTW: Check out my podcast! www.tystapodcast.com We're in the iTunes Comedy Top 100!
