About 3 times a day for the past 3 weeks, 480-999-1234 continues to call our home phone. We have asked politely that they stop calling and that they take us off their lists. To no avail.
I have been receiving these calls for the past week, and they have left a message once, but there was no talking. They are getting really annoying, and i have just stopped answering. I don't understand why they are doing this
I have had this number phone us in the past, and this time the id had on it some kind of codeit readV12051454500002Why can't there be away that these scams aren't able to get through to the public. They must be stopped!
They call at least once a week, asking in Spanish if I speak Spanish. But they ask for me using my correct last name, addressing me as Senorita X. Although my last name could be a Spanish name, it's not. So I also think that may be the connection. One time I said to the woman caller, in Spanish, that I don't speak Spanish. After all, who doesn't know a few phrases even if you can't speak the language. She hung up but a man called back immediately - asking for Senorita X in English - so it can't be just automated calling. I'm worried that it's some kind of identity theft con. and now I'm considering changing my number.
They called and hung up, i just returned the phone call but nothing static, and i too am registered with the do not call list!! but that doesn't realy work
People ought not to answer these scams, if you have call i.d. on your phone make sure you know who it is before you pick up.
The caller speaks to me in a foreign language or hears that I speak English when I say hello, then the caller hangs up. I guess they are targeting Hispanic speakers and since I answer in English, they want nothing....yet they keep calling and calling and calling. I still have no clue what they want.
I have been getting same calls on my cell phone. I am guess some rat [***] company sold our numbers to another company. I have had this cell number for years and have never had this problem before.
Speaking Spanish, poor connection. I hung up. Before the Caller ID number there is a long list of letters and numbers....V121212114460003
I got tired of them always calling - I work from home - so now I just pick up the receiver and set it on top of the cpu - which has " gospel " and it's " southern gospel " music playing - they listen to the music or have to hang up. They still call ( maybe they like the music ) but it's not as often as what they use to ! ;-)
