I owe money on a medical bill, and keep getting calls from this number... they must be part of a collection thing for Providence. huh.
It's the cute lab tech guy from Providence. He was trying to schedule me for a lab. Just call them back at their main number perhaps? (And yes, they have called me on Sunday.)
I DO NOT owe money to Providence, nor have I seen any medical provider affiliated with them in over 10 years. Just started getting calls from this number to my landline, no messages are left. My caller id just says "Providence Med". Makes me wonder if someone who shouldn't have has gotten their hands on patient records. Cross fingers that's not the case.
This is a back line for Providence Health Systems. It doesn't go to a specific person; it's just the number that shows up on your caller ID whenever someone contacts you from any Providence provider's office. Their system "blinds" it on purpose so you can't see the caller's direct dial number. My company does the same thing. I get this ID when my doc's medical assistant calls to remind me of my next day appointment.
