Why should we have to be on yet another DNC list? The reason we are already on one is so we don't have to keep answering the phone for stupid surveys, politicians, sales people etc. I have NEVER heard of anyone who had themselves put on a DNC list so their friends and family wouldn't call them. If a company does not respect the fact you don't want their kind of calls based on the first list, they won't respect it on another. Besides, I have seen them simply pretend to be a "different" organization and use another number to pester me from.

Received 2 calls from this number. Dialed number back and all it did was ring. Now it's blocked

I was just checking south to see who was calling my home number but if they truly are a opinion research company they're not selling anything just trying to get some ideas Further client tell if it's a manufacturing company service company just wanting peoples opinions and thoughts they haven't called me late at night just a couple times and if I see their number come up again I will answer it and if they are not what they say they are I will update this but I'm okay were free market but not harassment

Yes, they called me regarding southwest gas. I hung up thinking it was a scam

An out of area call for me. They're blocked now, but it's an area code where I know people so I can't block all of Oregon. Doesn't matter who these people are, it's an annoying call, but at least they can't make my phone ring any more when using this number. First call from them, and, hopefully, the last. It went to my answering machine but I got to press the big red button before they hung-up. I'll verify my friends phone number and maybe change that block of a complete phone number to that of the area code and prefix. CallerID: "UNKNOWN NAME". Although it seems to be a survey, There is enough contradiction to make me classify this as a spam call using a spoofed number. Best not to answer when they call.

Because that is how the existing law is worded.Charities, surveys, and political calls are exempt from having to use the federal Do-Not-Call lists to avoid calling numbers on that list.But the law requires them to maintain an internal Do-Not-Call list of their own.Clods who create survey and charities and political organizations to mainly enrich themselves don't bother with an internal Do-Not-Call list.

Man wanted me to taker a survey. I told him I don't do surveys becasu the questions are all slanted to make you give the answer THEY want to hear.
