The only way to permanently get a telemarketing company to leave you alone is to tell them to "add me to your internal do not call list"
People that believe what you have stated, are either gullible, or are telemarketers, looking for additions to the 'sucker list'.
Have been continuous calls from this number and no messages!! I don't answer because I do not know the number.

Calls once or twice per week with voice msg "Brandon from CTS" call me back. WTF is CTS? No context, no real msg.
Phone number calls multiple times a day, once someone from my office picks up, it is dead silence on the other line. When you try to call back, it is a number that is not in service.
