Some kind of sales call. Can not understand what the caller is trying to say. I assume it is a telemarketer but I really don't know for sure. I have "Call Blocked" this number, because I don't want to hear it. And I am not interested in whatever it is they are trying to sell or (steal). I am starting to believe that the Do Not Call list is a complete waste of time. Maybe it's really a "Call Me And Sell Your Sh--" list.

Just got a call. Message that it was a call alert for senior citizens. I could press 1 to confirm my shipping address or press 5 to let them know I received it. sigh. They have been added to call block but I know they will just call back using a different number.

They are NOT crafty. But they are STUPID. ROBOCALL for FREE MEDICAL ALLERT SYSTEM.TO CONFIRM your ADDRESS press 1. WE just hung up. These CREEPS are targeting SENIORS.So I will contact the proper SPECIAL POLICE.

That it is, ...the DNC list is a....[ complete farce]. I also believe that The List is and has been being sold for decades once some government genius thought of it when the original idea was to protect citizens (until money became the objective). There is enormous profitability in selling personal contact lists as is evidenced in all the credit card hacking taking place. People think we are paranoid by thinking that the FCC is selling our information so I ask those people these questions: When in 2007 the former President could install a Middle East terrorist as P.M. in an a quasi-enemy country while we're at war with his neighbors, backing him w/US $$'s for 3 years while American soldiers are dying on the very same foreign soil, when the FBI can steal Bit Coins from the international drug trade websites they've just taken down, when upper echelons in the DEA can make enormous profits from working *with* the Mexican and Columbian Drug cartels all the while spouting rhetoric about the "American War On Drugs", when the NSA can spy on US Citizens, uninhibited, for decades in the name of national security (this includes your grandmothers) and without repercussion, when the FDA can sign a new, long term agreement w/ Monsanto to further Agribusiness profitability in exchange for permission to poison our livestock, soil and food, then *why* is it so far-fetched to consider that the FCC may be selling our telephone numbers to interested, 3rd-party, telemarketers ? Not only is it tame by comparison (to the other government infractions) it's just "business as usual". I see it differently, it's just another example of the profound and ongoing duping of the American public.

So this was a call from 508-882-7130 at 6.05 pm Eastern Mon 17AUG2015 to my Verizon landline.Telemarketer professing to give advice from the "American Institute on Aging" which is bogus, but sounds close enough to the NIH "National Institute on Aging" to catch your attention and appear "legit". It's not - it's just another bogus scam to flog unwary elderly folks personal medical alert devices and no doubt high priced monthly subscriptions based on the premise that the device and shipping is "full paid for by Medicare".Preying on the elderly is unacceptable. These people need to be hit where it hurts - FCC please please please take action against telemarketers and scammers.Dingo

some scam about drug abuse treatment.starts out ALERT,THIS IS NOT A SALES CALL,please just hang up,block number if possible.

You guys have to purchase the phone from Panasonic that boots these A#*holes after one ring, works great. They call once, you enter it as CALL BLOCK then bango- they call again rings once and the phone boots the caller. I may get a call every other 2-3 days from a new one but this cut the calls down 85%. And trust me I'm not trying to sell anything, I just know what everyone here is going through, GOOD LUCK !
