They have called me 3 times a day for the past week on MY CELL PHONE and I AM IN INDIA! Ridiculous!
I made a donation to Planned Parenthood last year after the Komen Foundation debacle. This Telefund dude (after not even knowing who he was speaking to) said he was calling about a drive for an organization that Mr. "XYZ" donated to last year...Planned Parenthood.Gonna send a nice note to the PP people about this:a) I never donate to anyone by phone. I will do an annual donation on-line.b) Identifying me as a PP contributor could be controversial and this [***] revealing that someone has donated could get them into hot water with...say...an employer.
I have gotten many calls at work from this number during the past week. When I picked up there has never been anyone there. I have called this number back twice and left messages asking them twice to stop calling. I will turn this over to security next if the calls do not stop.
This number was listed as a missed call on my company's Office Communicator online instant message service, which is a new feat of intrusive behavior. How did they find that shielded service?? I was just about to call them back, thinking it was someone important in the company, but i checked this post and feel very grateful to everyone who has contributed. i will definitely NOT call them back from a landline or cell phone to give them any more info about me. Thanks everyone!
I sent a note to Planned Parenthood telling me that I could not consider any future donations (I've given in the past) if they EVER called me again.Just got another call from "TELEFUND" with my buddy Melvyn saying that he wasn't calling to request financial support but rather he wanted to inform me about the two candidates running for President.At that point I pretended not to speak English and you can be sure that PP won't see another dollar from me.
caler ID said Telefund. No one at the other end when I picked up. Sending off yet another note to the usual suspects. - didn't someone post the home numbers of Telefund's principals? I'd love to find it again...
I continue to receive unwanted phone calls from this number. I never answer, just know I do not want to talk to them.
just got a 2nd call from this number on my cell... got one from (303)894-0456 yesterday and one from (866)461-1923 the day before that. what the hell is going on?? why all of a sudden is there a barrage of these strange calls? i'm tired of wasting my minutes on these pricks!
I received about two calls a day from this number, with no one on the other end.I called Telefund's Austin branch (512-916-4001), gave them my number and asked them to remove it from their lists. They said they would, didn't give me any hassle. The call literally took 30 seconds. Give it a try.
