I get a call from this number (by *69 I find it out). I call back and get some "operator sounding message" that I must first dial a one or zero when calling this number. Please leave me alone!

The policy here is to NEVER EVER donate to any charity that uses skanky telemarketing to annoy consumers. Telemarketing is a relic from the past that just needs to go away in the 21st century. Sorry, telemarketers, but it's time to fold the tent and go out of business. Until then, NUMBER BLOCKED!

Unless you're recording your calls they don't have to abide by your request, only if it's in writing and I don't mean EMAIL them. If you record the call you have to tell them of such

My friend just contacted me b/c she received a very disturbing phone call from 512-916-0420 in Texas yesterday. While other posts above have said this number belongs to Telefund, the man calling my friend said he worked for GLSEN (gay, lesbian, straight education network) and was calling to thank her for support anti-bullying efforts on facebook (she has apparently signed an anti-bullying petition on facebook recently). She said the man was very convincing as he tried to explain why she should donate money to him. He started the conversation by asking for $100 donation, and would not consider anything less. When my friend explained she could not donate that amount, he became very rude. That is when she contacted me. I assumed it was some kind of fb scam, but in reading the above posts, it sounds like Telefund has been around a while. It would be interesting to know if they actually represent any of the organizations they claim or if they have just been running a scam for all these yrs.

Received numerous calls from this number. Wrote an e-mail telling them to cease and desist any and all communication from them. Also stated in e-mail was legal ramifications against them.

These calls are annoying and unwelcome. You'd think that TeleFund would see these posts - they can't be getting as many positive responses as bad reviews. One day I'm going to answer - sincere apologies in advance if there is a person on the other end!

Received a call on my NYC cell phone from this number yesterday at 4:36pm. I didn't answer and they did not leave a message.

Forgot to mention that the company that called - on caller id - was Telefund.

repeatedly am called by this telemarketing co, but cut off so quickly i cannot request removal from their list. my next step is to notify a govt. agency regarding this because i know it is illegal to do this.
