had this no come up last night I do not pick up and am on a do not call list which doesnt stop them- have kept up the caller ID for just such calls- these unwanted ring ups seem to be getting worse--
No message, never pick up any call I don't recognize, no message. Just keep adding them to my blocked call list.
received a call from Mason Ohio 1-513-229-9279 since no name was identified I used my call blocker to instantly block and no more calls. I would recommend everyone buy one if they want to keep a home telephone, my list has grown to 72 numbers. I sure enjoy using it.

We still have friends in Ohio and several folks here whose cell phones just give the state of where the phone is "registered" so I answered it and there was a real person on the line (shock!) who asked for my wife by name (odd) but didn't care to leave her a message (again, shock!). I should have let the answering machine take the call like we do most of them. Now I don't even have enough info to register an official complaint with FCC whatever good that will do. Rats!
Thank you for a most useful post. From the number of types of entities people got calls from, represented by this telemarketer, they must be huge. I will never answer now. I reply only to mail requests for donations when it is convenient for me.
It's a telemarketing firm calling on behalf of the ACLJ - American Center for Law & Justice. We had communication with their affiliated charity, Operation Blessing Int'l, which is how they probably got our number. Would bet that other such calls people received from this number were for fundraising... Even if I wanted to give, I would donate with them directly via their website and not some cheap telemarketing firm calling on their behalf. So annoying... Called twice today before I decided to answer.

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
