Why do these ppl call .................. ?????????????? And why can't they be shut down ???????
I called the number back and it is located in Montreal, Quebec and it is to participate in a Focus group. I couldn't get the name of the company cuz the person sounds like a little girl and she is soft spoken.
Got a call this afternoon but with call display, I didn't pick up the phone. Well and fine to say to call them back and have your name deleted from their call list but there are charges to make such a call so why must I pay to have them stop harassing me with unwanted calls? Shouldn't they have the common courtesy to have a toll free number?
The company is called Nielsen opinion Quest focus group it is a telemarketer that calls for surveys. They are based in Montreal.If you wish to file a complaint, call back that number (514) 288-0199 this is their head office number.Hope this helps.

Got a call from the same number 2 to 3 times a day for a few days. You can hardly understand the person talking and bad accent. The last call yesterday i was so rude, shrude, impolite, sarcastic and vulgar i think they will not call again.
The people giving them your name and phone numbers are companies you are doing business with eg: your bank, telephone co., isp etc. If you want someone's license revoked it is your bank you need to go after not a Market Survey company. However the best bet to stop these people is never to answer one....ever. If your bank wants info let them send you a survey in the mail instead of dealing with a third party who may be out sourcing your personal information to India
