I got 5 calls from them earlier and picked up the last time out of curiosity. The guy repeated my first and last name, asked if that was my name, and I said no. Gave him a fake name to see what else he wanted, and then he started talking about credit cards. So I hung up.Can they do anything with my phone number, address, and a (fake) name?
3/29/08 5:05p.m. got a phone call from this number found out its a Quebec number / area code.....figures canadians never know what the heck there doing........stupid brits
today alone so far i received 14 calls from 5145555555 one every hour sometimes 2. i dont answer cause i know it is some sort of scam. and sprint my bs cell phone company don't offer selective blocking either nor do they offer the service to have a call traced. they suck
I refuse to change my number because of this. If you call back on a land line- you get no response, or hung up on.HOWEVER- if you call from your cell phone you will get your carriers information system. I got Verizon Wireless information. I am reporting this number to Verizon. If you get this call- use your cell to return and report offenders. Not only will you be helping others- you will be helping yourself.
ive been getting these calls for the last 2 mths around 25 times a day i guess its about time for me to change my number as im really starting to get pissed if i find these people there will be a big problem
well just received the 30th call from 514-555-5555 today and every other day for the last month and a half there was a guy on the other end of the phone some dumb indian [***] i told him that i was at the police station and we were recording his call he tried to argue and yell at me then i got pissed i cursed the dick out he has not called me back again
Received one call from this number at 7:20pm, on April 1. The 555-5555 configuration struck me as odd, so didn't pick up.
