This is a horror story in the making. Thanks for all of your imput, folks. I will never answer this number after everything I have read here. Does anyone know if our cell phone providers can do anything to help us with these annoying calls (haven't read ALL of the responses here--so many of them--maybe if I scroll around someone may have an answer to this question).

I Got this call today but didnt answer caller id says quebec call im black and dont know anyboby outside of the us so i didnt answer but i do think all these strange calls have something to do with the Do Not Call Registry because soon as i registered my number on there these stranger calls stared i even changed my number and about a month later there back so maybe they hacked the list because this wasnt happening until i registed my number with them and my phone number aint listed so were did they get it from??????????

got 6 calls from them within 2hrs, i just got home from work and checked my id, and this number pops up 6times, they have never called me before, so all of a sudden they call me out the blue, this is crazy

called me at least 5 times today and its only 1pm....getting tired of them calling me...dont' know who it is, they never answer.

I have been recieving calls from 514-555-5555 for about a week now, and it started out about 1 time a day, and now it is about 4 times a day.I dont know what to do, I am also on the Do Not Call List. I do NOT know what to do about this. When I call the number back, it says Sprint 411. I talked to them and they told me that I could NOT block a single number. Bull [***]!!!!!

they just called me again, i pretended like i was under age, and told them my mom was at work, and she wouldn't want anything because her number is unlisted, and i asked them how did they get our address. they didn't even know my name at all, so wherever they are stealing info from they just know your number and your address, and want to send something out supposedly you won for a lifetime. he wouldn't answer any of my questions at all, about how they got my number

Got a call from them this afternoon, When I picked up know one was there... I thought what a weird number..... I tried to call it back and of course it wouldn't let me do so.. WHO IS THIS

She has her own cell. she wont answer to #s she doesnt know so i have been answering to figure out who this was. Then 2night I had her answer and he asked for her by FIRST AND LAST NAME so being a mother i investigate this one and I find him Sick [***]! I also have another address that I got from the interent as well so if you need more info let me know thanks

I've been receiving calls from name D. Purdy # 514-555-5555.This # called me 2 times now and doesn't leave a message.I have caller ID and this is the name that shows up.They don't leave a message and I don't call them back!

Do you have anymore information on the number 514-555-5555? We have been doing business with this number as well as the number 973-482-3624. They say they are D & J Textile Co, Paul Johnson. He said he said his bank were holding all his US customers checks because they were us funds and if we would cash them for him he would give us a percentage. At first he ask us to sent money to him in Haiti then he changed it to London England, I saved the UPS envelope. The zip code was Paul Johnson 13 Delaware Dr. Salem, NH..03079. Do you think we can track this person thru UPS... They have camera's in their stores dont they? Get back to me... thanks.................... Im affraid we just got scammed for about 2k. Im sick to my stomach.. the 555 number comes up as Quebec, tne the 3624 is a calling card company. Please forward anything you have to me. We have got to get this money back.
