They call me one week every day. Then I call back, it is an answering machine of Legacy Insurances. They have an option to take of your phone number from the calling list. As I did, hoping they wouldn't call me again.

I've just been called by this number. It seems to originate from a telemarketing business hired to do the follow-up on some promotions and other such stuff on behalf of some other corporation. In my case, I bought something from Sears Canada. I got called so taht they could sell me other Sears products. Why they never leave any message, nor desist in their calling, is because the actual call is made by a computer that, as soon as you pick-up and say something, connects you to someone who handle your call. If you don't pick-up, the computer knows it and your number is scheduled for some other time. It is absolutely annoying. Using machines to autobother people like this is downright immoral, so I always take those opportunities to unload all my frustrations (related or not) to the poor human being unfortunate enough to get me on the line: in short, a free psychoanalysis unconstrained by politeness. I know, I know, as the saying goes "it's not their fault". But in fact, it actually is, in the sense that those accomplices do this, knowing very well that they are pestering me at the worst possible moment for the worst possible reason. The fact that they make a living by pestering people doesn't make it right.
