Nope: They don't leave msgs, because they're trolling for people they can rip-off live. Don't talk to strangers who call & you'll be okay. It's like being a kid again--"Don't talk to strangers." Brave new world.

Just received a call from this number on my cell phone (Verizon). Did not answer since I did not recognize number (much less the area code), no message left. Reading through the previous posts, looks like I made the right choice.

Just got a call from this company (about lowering my credit card rate) on my cell phone. Pressed one to talk to a rep. Asked her where she got my # from. She hung up on me. Tried to call the # back, but got a "mailbox full" message.

Have you received any more calls since you did that? Maybe I hung up too soon!

Just got a call on my cell phone while I was at work. Same crap about "Push 1 to lower your interest rates" I don't even have a credit card, so I pushed it to see who they are and why they're calling me. Some black lady answered and says "Hi, would you like to lower your interest rates?" and I asked, "Why are you calling me when I don't have a credit card?" She instantly hung up.

Very often scammers like this are using spoofed caller-id. That makes them complaint-proof. Anybody with a VOIP phone switch can do it.

I returned the call. Got a person who wanted to talk about lowering credit card rates. I asked them to explain how their service works. They hemmed and hawed a while, never gave me a good answer. I kept pressing for information -- finally they asked me if I was actually interested. I said no. He got mad, yelled "then stop pushing 1!" and hung up on me.
