We got this call but didn't pick it up. Relatives arrived in Iowa put we didn't pick it up. Good thing that we didn't. Now the continue to call us over and overPEOPLE! DO NOT PICK UP THE PHONE IF ITS FROM THIS NUMBERTHIS IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got one of these phone calls last night. Our number is private and unlisted. How the heck do they get it? I get tired of hearing the numbers are computer generated. What good has the do not call list done when we keep getting these stupid calls? Geesh.

Just got called. I let my machine take it, they hung up. I am also on no-call registry, have been for years. I'm also looking for work, so I'm always tempted to pick up in case it's an out-of-town recruiter. Here's something cool, though. I have internet phone through my cable company. They have a function that lets me block individual phone numbers, so that is what I do when I get one of these calls. When my list of 12 slots fills up, I delete the oldest number and just keep going. So if you do have a VoIP line, check your functions. You may also have this feature.

Dexter IA was on today's caller ID. Auto message about lowering interest rates. SCAM 1-515-789-7889. Selected #1 to speak to a rep, a guy came on and talked fast and I just told him FU. Just that simple, then I hung up. Will repeat when they call back. I'm tying up their telephone line and I'm wasting the time it takes for the rep to speak to me. These scammers are all the same you cannot speak to them about removing your name from their calling list, they will either overtalk you or hang up. Bring it on.

Same deal -- "Roger" muttered something like "All in One Call Center" and hung up when I asked him to say the name of his company more clearly. Last month these calls were coming from Sanford, FL, now its Iowa.

I don't know if this will help or not but today I registered a complaint with the National Do Not Call List people. These calls are intrusvie and I believe they are trying to get credit info from unsuspecting people. They say they can reduce credit card interest but you have to give them the type of card you have and the credit card number. I think this is a SCAM! Not to mention annoying.

these people keep calling they have been told to stop calling we are on the no call list.the lady said that they have the right to call because i sighed a contract with the cr-card company,so the have the right to call . this is a bunch of bull .they told me i was behind on my payments,trying to offer me lower intrest rate . i have no balance on the card.

515-789-7889 is a scam to get your credit card numbers. First it was an automated message (the same one I have received before) Customer Services asking if I want to lower my interest rate. This time, instead of hanging up, I pressed "1" , a woman said she was Lisa and she asked if I had more than $4000.00 on my Visa or MasterCard. I asked repeatedly what company she was calling for and she refused to answer, just kept asking which credit card I have. Caller ID says Dexter IA. This is the exact same automated message every time, just a different location.I called my State Attorney General's office; and filed an official complaint.

I googled the National DO NOT CALL REGISTER & added my home phone & cell phone numbers (you can add up to 3 numbers) via www.donotcall.gov/ Next I added the link/page to my favorites. They will send a confirmation to your email & you MUST open it to confirm your phone number. Once confirmed, after 31 days if the annoying telemarketers/scammers are still bugging me, I go back to the link & report them. If we all start turning these scammers in, maybe we'll finally have some peace at home without the annoying phone calls!
