I did just that today, june 25, 2011. Wish everyone would file a complaint maybe something would be done about those horrible people!
Man this is BULL why have a no call registry if it is not only not being inforced but nothing happens to the jerks that ignor it, I was even nice and tried to talk to the guy on the phone from this number, I dont have any credit cards and am not getting one any time soon, so wth.......where can one go to get this sort of harrasement stopped?????? And why can they call us yet we can not call back or even complain, I had one of these last week and it was a privaet number, so not all the numbers shown are the actual number, isn't this fraud?
Caller ID says "Dexter, IA" and "515-789-7889". They left no message. 2:23pm on 6/25/2011We are on DNC list.
Got a call from this number ID "Dexter" with a recorded message about our current credit card account. A hoax.
If anyone talks to these people, and they admit to being in Iowa, you might ask them if they know your "friend", Nick Klinefeldt, the United States Attorney in Des Moines... The USAO in Iowa South has a strong reputation of battling fraud. Report attempted wire fraud to the FBI.
Just got a call from this number. Auto call telling me to stay on the line to lower my rates on my credit card. That this would be my last call. Promise!!! I waited round & pushed 1 to talk to someone. When a person got on the phone - I told him that I wanted removed from the calling list. Before the words were out of my mouth- he hung up on me. I tried calling back. You can't call these fakes! Scam!Says: Dexter. IA on caller ID
