Got a call from this number on Saturday. The heavily accented bum claimed there was a problem with my IRS returns and threatened legal action. Number one, the IRS does not call and most certainly on a Saturday. Secondly, the IRS does not have my cell phone number. I hope this piece of scum suffers a painful demise.

Received a call from this number. I was informed that I had won a $100 Walmart gift card. They just needed my credit/debit card number. I told him to send me the information through the mail. He became flustered, then hung up on me. SCAM. They use multiple phone numbers to try to trick you. You can block this #, but they will call again with a different #. I will block all numbers they call from. Why don't these low life's get a real job and stop trying to steal money from vulnerable, desperate people who really need their money. Scumbags.

This number just called me too. I didnt answer because i did not recognize the call. They didnt leave a message

518-444-2217, called 05-07-14 at 2pm. they did not leave a message. caller id says NY. very irritated from all of those telemarketers calling.

Someone from 518-444-2217 showing Athens NY calls our number almost daily. I have asked them repeatedly to stopcalling our number, and they say they will put us on a DO NOT CALL LIST. However, the next day they call again. Thisis harassment. We pay our phone bill for our personal use and get so disgusted with all these phone calls telling us wehave won a cruise or a gift card to Walmart or some crazy something we have won. Some of our wall phones do not showwho is calling so we pick it up and answer it. Is there any way possible to stop these calls. Looks like our government couldprotect us from calls from these foreign countries or in the U.S.

I just got the 518-444-2217 number call on my cell phone and since I am at work I did not answer. My husband is working in NY and it worried me till I saw this posting. Thanks to all that take the time to let us know we are not the only ones getting these dang useless calls.

Just got the missed call and message on my work phone. Same scam about pressing "1" to redeem your gift voucher.

These are criminals and Terrorists.They seek to grain your personal information for theft.There is no reason to allow these people to live.

Interestingly, I got a call on my cell phone from this number, and I rarely get telemarketer calls on my cell, just hours after I made an email inquiry to Dollar car rental. They requested a cell phone number for a return call and I hesitated to give out my cell but I wanted an answer to my question. Don't know if it's just a coincidence or not.
