Like you get a legit phone call from Arizona at 8am EST. I think not. did not pick up cause I know no one from that part of the country and the time difference was the clue that was a junk call

I just received a call from this number at 9:55 a.m. (EST). I'm at work and didn't answer, plus I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. I immediately did a Google search and started reading through your all's 800Notes, and I'm glad I didn't answer. Sounds like a scam, and I'll be adding them to my blocked list. Thanks everyone for contributing your experience.

Many times the calls are not coming from land lines. Computers are able to fake the incoming phone number showing up on caller id. Takes a lot of effort to track them down. Might even be outside the U.S. so the chances of being prosecuted under U.S. law is slim to none. Sorry. I am tired of this stuff too.
