It's a silent prank call. The only possibility of doing that was the guy had too much fun or was a hired gun by someone for harassment. The number has been there for a long time and kept calling periodically.

FYI: they called my cell phone, not my home phone. Not sure how these spammers are obtaining people's personal cell phone numbers. Not cool!
Contact your state attorney general's office. On our state website, we can report unwanted calls. We have received replies by either email or letter to all reported calls- in one case, received a phone call from attorney general's office gathering more information as they are building a case against this group. Our landline unwanted calls are becoming less frequent but are increasing on our cells. State people advised us to NEVER answer a call from a number we do not recognize - no matter how much we want to yell at them. Just reject and block calls permanently. This practice is helping.

Scam. An attempt to get bank account information and then a request to transfer money to the scammer's account.
I called Frontiers official phone number 1-800-921-8105, the agent I spoke to gave me this scammer number, they pretend to be frontier and offer a rebate and ask you to provide your bank account info to “send” the rebate. I hung up
