I've got a call once a day for the the past three days on my cell, no messages left, I tried to call back from my home phone, it's a BS #, you can't call it back.
Heh, just got this call.. Guy could barely talk English, his accent made me think he was from India. He claimed he was from Microsoft Tech support but then his next words were *and I believe you have a Windows computer*.. So I didnt say anything, and then he didnt say anything, I could just hear background noise and people talking, so I quick Googled the phone number and found this page.. so I hung up on the guy.
Anyone else notice the number from the beginning of the 4 digits starts a count down?? 9876 543 210? I got the same call about the government thing I was like really from the government?? The government doesn't have people with foreign accents call you and just hung up.
Gentleman with a foreign accent claimed his name was Jerry McKenzie. He is calling from Microsoft and is a technician monitoring my computer throwing errors.. No thanks Buddy!
I have received calls that started on Monday of this week 8-11-14... From a 543-210-9876... When I answer they hang up..... I had to change my number cause of random number calling over and over I had over 450 calls from the sane different numbers is 4 days.... I want to know how the hell they get our numbers...uuugghhh...
Answered because my daughter has been getting a lot of college calls. Nobody answered and an automated voice just said goodbye and hung up.
This number just called me. I heard a bunch of beeps and then I said "Hello?" and they whispered "Hello" back to me and it was really creepy. Almost like a scary movie. I put my co-worker on the phone and they whispered it to her too and then hung up. I tried to call it back and it said that it was not a real number.Very CREEPY!! Scam for sure!!
I received a call from 543-210-9876. I did not answer. A person with and Indian accent left message, "Hello, hello, can you hear me? Hello, hello, can you hear me?" How did he get my number?
I got a call from the same 543-210-9876 number today. Had a fun conversation with "Thomas Martin."I spent 25 wonderful minutes on the phone with the African doing my best to confuse him. I gave him a bogus credit changing the number every time he read it back. As he was about to hang up I remembered that the bogus number didn't work and gave him a new bogus number. It went on forever. I have to admit he toughed it out though. He should have hung up after he got the credit card number. I made him put his manager on the line and got their "street address" at 200 Independence Ave. in DC. Said I would drop by tomorrow. I may call back.Caller: ScammerCall Type: Scam
Just got off the phone with a guy with a strong european accent. Said that my name and "number" have been randomly selected by the Government for a grant of $8,500 which I NEVER have to pay back. I stopped him and asked what "number"...and he said Phone Number. I then told him that I did not enter any such drawings (I know he said "randomly" earlier). He immediately said..."Oh! Ok then bye bye" and hung up. SCAMMER!
