I don’t know what this is. I’ve gotten four calls from this number in the past half hour. The time between the calls is the same, always about 5 minutes. I let it go to voicemail, then there’s three beeps on their end, then they hang up...seriously what is the point of this? It’s so creepy and how is their number 555-123-4567?!

Same here. Except they’ve called five times now (with each call like 5 minutes apart) & it’s the same thing every time...so weird

I got a call from this number on my birthday at 3:30 am PST.

9:30am CST This call showed up on my caller ID with out-of-area on it. I did NOT answer as it looked very suspicious. I expected whoever was calling to hang up when the answering machine picked up, but a woman's voice recording left a LONG message! She starts off saying "Someday we will all face death..", talking about how everyone must face death in their life,but you can plan ahead for it. "If you are a Texas resident,you may be elligible for a new state regulated plan that is designed to give each individual up to $25,000 cash to help pay for funeral costs & final expenses. There is no medical exam required, your coverage is guaranteed, and your price will not increase."(then more guilt talk about not burdening your relatives).."To receive your free quote on this new whole life insurance, leave your name, age & address after the tone." Then it makes a weird sound, waits THREE seconds, and hangs up! Even if someone was fool enough to leave info, there isn't enough time to! Just a VERY LONG annoyance taking up room on the answering machine!(or if it calls at night...!!) No number to call to complain or trace:-(

The number 555-123-4567 called twice after 8:00 and 8:35 PM and listed no name on my caller ID. Most numbers give the name this one did not leave a message. I didn't answer whomever it was!!

I got a call from "Unknown name, Unknown number" asking for someone who doesn't live here anymore and a few minutes later got a call from "Uknown name, 555-123-4567" saying he was doing a movie survey and wanted to include my opinion. When I told him I didn't have the time to answer his survey right now he asked if anyone else was available.

Got this call on 7/10 at 5:55pm. Let no message. Who are these people and how can you block them?

Received a call from 555-123-4567 on 07/13/08 @ 4:13 PM Was not able to answer. Could not find any area code of 555 Did not call back - did not want to be charged for international call. WHY IS THIS PHONE NUMBER SHOWING UP??

Are you serious?? Was it really your grandma?? How did she call you? Where did she call from? Where are you ?? What country or state??

Got a call at 6:01. No one was on the other end.
