The convoluted and extensive dishonesty by the caller means there are many interested 'customers' from a long period of time (decades) to the fairly regular instances of him being held to account legally. The essence of this blog is indeed on a different level but has by default been the best way to keep up with news for 'customers' all over the world. I'm not sure whom an "average user" of this blog is, but if they take heed from the controversy that is invariably associated with this caller then the blog has done a very good thing.
