just like everyone else i get suckered in by the mail thing and because i also am getting married soon and have no money i wanted a great honeymoon so i call and talk to the "nice" guy who answers and you know get to know him and then after he tells me all this stuff which honestly does sound great i say sure i'll love to take the trip then he sends me to his friend that re-caps everything and then he asks me for my card number so i freak out because i don't know them and i hate to say no to things so i just hang up on them so they can't yell at me lol.... i felt bad at first for hangin up w/ out sayin anything to them first but now that i'm getting these stupid calls and the busy signal when i call back i don't feel so bad anymore...

I figured out a really fun way to get them to stop calling / sending those "free" tickets in the mail.What I did was call them back. The guy answered, and I said:"Hi, I just got your mail (or call) about the FREE cruise! It sounds really cool, but the thing is, I can't legally leave the country so I can't go. Can I please be off your list?"The guy was silent for a bit, and then typed something in and said I was off, and that he was sorry. I thanked him.So far it's worked great! No calls or mail since!

they claim i registered with them for a free vacation, but obviously a third party has sold them my contact info. which pisses me off. i thought they passed laws concerning telemarketing and phone harassment. am i wrong?

They tried to get me on this 5614240845 scam only i think they used advertisement space on Facebook in order to get my name and number to call me. I registered through the facebook add for a contest to win a Bahamas cruise and a month and a half later this number calls me saying I won. I might have believed them had it not been for this web page saying that this number was a scam.
